PREPARATORY COURSE

The preparatory department was founded in 1962. The aim of the preparatory department is teaching the Russian language and basic fundamentals of medicine to the foreign students. Having graduated successfully from the preparatory department, the students apply to the first year of the University on a specialty chosen. The duration of the preparatory faculty is 10 months.

The program of the Russian language course at the preparatory department gives the possibility to develop the students skills in making notes of scientific texts, mastering the special terminology, understanding and writing lectures. Here students also extend their knowledge of Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Computer Science. The students are to receive the most necessary skills in reading, listening, writing and speaking with focused work on subjects specific to the University classroom. The teachers of the preparatory faculty are competent, friendly and dedicated professionals. They have extensive experience in teaching the foreign students. There are several lingaphone cabinets are used for the teaching.

The program of the preparatory department curriculum is approved by the Ministry of education and Ministry of Public health, Ukraine and gives the right to enter the following faculties: medical faculty; dentistry and postgraduate training. These will help you to prepare for the content and level of the degree course subjects, as well as to familiarise yourself with the method of teaching at the Crimea State Medical University.

Crimean Academy of Environmental Protection

The State Crimean Academy of the Environmental Protection is a higher state educational establishment which exists since 1960 .

The Academy trains at the Bachelors', Specialists' and Masters' degree level in the following fields :

-landscape architechture;
-industrial and civil construction;
-technology of building structures;
-hydroimprovement;
-water-supply and water system;
-heat and gas supply and ventilation;
-non-traditional energy resources;
-economic of enterprises;
-economic cybernetics;
-accounting and audit;
-accounting and audit;
-management of organization (hotel management, menagment in building industry);
-oil wells drilling(boring);
-machinery and equipment for oil and gas extracting enterprises;
-geophysics (seismology);
oil and gas pipelines & oil and gas tanks;
-oil and gas extraction.

The State Crimean Academy of the Environmental Protection is a unique multidiscipline state-higher education institution of the highest level of accreditation.

The Academy is the only one higher educational institution in the Crimea that implements training and retraining of qualified specialists in the sphere of engineering, landscape archtecture, recreate building and complex architecture, municipal economy and specialists in renewable sources of energy.

The Preliminary faculty of the State Crimean Academy of the Environmental Protection for foreign students who wants to enter technical, medical, agricultural and economic academic institutions of higher education in Ukraine and Russia was organized in 1992.

Groups consist of 5-7 students. Students study in Russian, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics depending on future sphere of studies. The teachers and tutors of the Preliminary Faculty are very experienced and proficient. On successful completion of the course of studies the students obtain an international standard certificate approved of by the ministry of education Ukraine.

There is a comfortable students hostel at the Preliminary Faculty. The students studies begin in September /November.

Grammar and vocabulary are thoroughly explained and taught, and the students language skills are systematically developed. We form and teach the students group all the year round.

The foreign students for a new academic year of studies are welcome for enroll admission to the Preliminary Faculty of the State Crimean Academy of the Environmental Protection.
